Day Trip Plan to Lantau Island
A day trip to the Big Buddha and Tai O Village is a must do on a Lantau Island trip.
If you are not joining a tour, you may take the MTR, public buses and the Ngong Ping 360 Cable car for the day trip.
I suggest you may go to the Buddha at the morning, and go to Tai O Village after lunch.
Step 1: Take MTR to Tung Chung
Step 2: Take the Ngong Ping 360 Cable car to Ngong Ping (Next to Exit B of Tung Chung MTR Station)
Bus 21 is your friend
You have 2 options BUS 11 and BOAT Trip
Bus 11, you may queue for an hour for return
Boat, you may rent it from the Tai O Pier to back, you may see the white dolphins during the trip.
